Tired of paying ridiculous prices for each picture from a studio? Most companies charge for the sitting, each individual print, plus an additional amount if you want to purchase the copyrights. Not at Capture the Moment. Each session you pay for, we will share the copyright with you. You will receive a signed release from us to use at your own discretion. Take your copyright free CD to your local photo store and print off any pictures for as little at 19 cents!
We provide onsite photography in the Omaha and surrounding areas, using natural light. We strongly encourage our customers to choose the site for their photo session; however, we are more than happy to provide suggestions. Our onsite services are great if you are having a big party, reunion, or fundraiser. Don't worry about running around taking a bunch of pictures. Have us take the pictures and enjoy the party!
Onsite Photography:
- Pick your favorite location, indoor or outdoor, for your pictures. Want your picture in a park, but you're not sure which one is the best choice? Check out our Outdoor Park Galleries below.
- Want your pictures taken with a nice backdrop, but don't want to leave your house? As long as you have the space, we can set up our Portable Backdrop Stand at your house and bring all of our backdrops with us. Check out our Portable Studio Gallery
Studio Setting:
- Want your picture taken at our studio? Check our our Studio Gallery to see pictures we've done there.
- Props: We strongly encourage you to bring your child's favorite stuffed animal or other items you want your pictures taken with. We do have some props, to see some of our pictures with props, please view our Props Gallery. **all props can be taken to onsite photo sessions**
We have experience taking family portraits, senior portraits, sports photography and pets, etc. Our experience with age ranges from newborns to the more mature generations. Please view our galleries to see samples of the different types of photography we’ve taken, including enhancements we’ve done.
We do not print the photos; however, we are available to make suggestions on where to go depending on what types of prints you are looking for.
How It Works:
Schedule Your Appointment: We are available on weeknights and weekends. We occasionally have a weekday open (on Holidays). Please contact Beth to schedule your appointment at: bflynn@capturethemomentomaha.com
Please include the following information:
- Date
- Time
- Length of Session
- Number of people in the photo shoot (adults and kids)
- Location(s) (We have a home studio with 5 different backgrounds, or we can come to your house or your favorite park!)
- Pets (We are a pet friendly photography studio! We do have a lovable chocolate lab at our home studio who gets along with every animal. However, because not every animal loves our dog, he is put away during photo sessions.)
- Any additional information you would like us to know
Your Appointment: We try our best to make you feel relaxed and make the session go smoothly. The most important thing to remember is this is YOUR photo session and we want to make sure that you are happy with your photos. Once the photo session is complete, we will be able to give you a better time frame for when you will be able to view your pictures on our website. We will email you a link to your online gallery. We ask for at least 1 to 2 weeks for turnaround time.
Your Photos: Your photos will be available online for you to view and share with friends. In the email with the link to your website will be our Order Form. Please complete this form and email it back to us. If you do not want any enhancements or additional enhancements than what we included in your gallery, you do not need to complete the order form, but please email us stating that you want the pictures in the gallery (with or without the enhancements).
We will email you an invoice once we’ve received your order.
Once we’ve received your payment, you will receive your images on a disc along with a Print Release so you may get your pictures printed wherever you want, as many times as you want, in whatever sizes you want.
Pricing:

Photo Sessions Include:
- Unlimited outfit changes.
- Unlimited number of subjects in the picture (pets included).
- Your choice of location(s) – there will not be an additional charge for multiple locations, unless it is more than 5 miles from the initial location.
- One copy of the Photo CD with rights is included (additional copies are available for an additional charge).
0-1 Hour: $50
1-2 Hours: $100
2-3 Hours: $200
3+ Hours: $300+
A La Carte:
- Enhancements: $20 per 100 images
- Extra Copies of the Photo CD with rights in another name: $15
- Extra Site(s): $10 extra
- If you would like to have your pictures taken at more than one site (your home and a park), we are more than happy to oblige. However, if the site is more than 5 miles from the first site, there will be an additional $10 charge per site.
Payment: Your Disc, along with your Print Release will be mailed to you within 1 business day of receiving your payment.
- We accept Cash and/or Checks.
- Checks may be made out to: Beth Flynn OR Capture the Moment
- We are currently working with PayPal to set up paying online, once this is complete, we will update our site.
Reshoots:
We want you to be happy with your photos. You are the one paying for them and we want to make sure our customers are satisfied with our services.
- If we need to reshoot the session because of a technical issue on our end, then your session is FREE*
- If you are not happy with the photos for other reasons (maybe the kids weren’t happy or feeling well that day, maybe you really didn’t like your outfit or your hair), then we will do a reshoot at Half Price**
Fine Print:
- We reserve the right to use all and any images we take for advertising and/or promotional items, unless otherwise requested by the client.
- "The unauthorized use of a copyrighted work is called an infringement. The Copyright Act provides stiff penalties for infringing copyrighted works. Under appropriate circumstances, penalties can include monetary damages, all profits earned by the infringer from the unauthorized use of the copyrighted work and attorneyís fees. - If at any time during the session, any person representing Capture the Moment feels uncomfortable, at risk or harassed, Capture the Moment will immediately end the session and the customer will be charged full price.
